Meaning “thus far and no further” in local legend, Runglee Rungliot is one of the most celebrated tea gardens in the Darjeeling region, producing teas of remarkable purity, aroma, and elegance.
The story of Darjeeling tea begins in the 1840s, when the British established tea plantations in this cool, misty mountain region using tea seeds originally smuggled from China. Today, the area is revered for producing some of the finest teas in the world, often called the “Champagne of Teas” for their distinctive character and refined taste.
